How to cancel, downgrade or change an In-App subscription?

You can access the in-app subscriptions using multiple ways. But, if you want an effective method to cancel and manage your IAP subscriptions, then here are the steps:

1. Go to the Settings in your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on iTunes and App Store.
3. Go to your Apple ID.
4. Select View Apple ID.
5. Now, just authenticate your Apple ID using the iOS device's password, Face ID or Touch ID, if needed.
6. Choose Subscriptions from the list of options in the menu.
7. Now you will be able to see all the subscriptions.
8. Select any subscription to see the options available for the selected item.

Certain applications allow users to downgrade or switch the subscription type. All the apps allow users to cancel the subscription.

In the app details, users can see all the cross-grading and downgrading options that are presently available for the selected app.
To cancel the subscription, just hit the Cancel Subscription button.

If you have already been billed for the present time period, then you will not get any refund. You can still access the app/service/app features until the subscription expires.

How to Effectively Manage and Cancel In-App Subscriptions in iOS

Disable the Bluetooth

Disconnecting paired accessories such as headphones, etc., may fix the battery draining problem. Here’s how you can disable Bluetooth:
1.       Launch the Control Center. Just swipe up from the bottom to bring it up.
2.       Now, select the Bluetooth option located beside Wi-Fi option and disable it.
3.       After all the Bluetooth accessories have been disconnected, check the battery behavior.

Turn off Location Services

Some applications like Google Maps, Messenger, Snapchat, etc., use Location Services to find where you are. Since location services utilize GPS, the phone’s battery gets consumed more. Here’s how you can disable Location Services.
1.       Open the Settings app.
2.       Tap on Privacy.
3.       Select Location Services.
4.       Now, tap on the bar next to Location Service to turn it off.

Turn off Background App Refresh

Many social media applications such as Facebook and Instagram refresh in the background so that the user can view fresh content when they open the app. This feature could result in a quicker battery drain. Since the apps are refreshed using the internet, a lot of battery is consumed in the process. Here’s how you can disable it.
1.       Open the Settings application.
2.       Tap on General.
3.       Now, locate the Background App Refresh option.
4.       Tap on it.
5.       In the next screen, tap on the toggle next to Background App Refresh to turn it off.
